The Great Escape is a comic solo, written, devised and performed by Isobel Cohen and presented by DanceEast, with music by Jont Mark. While nominally a piece about cheap underwear and life's little disappointments, its true purpose is to explain why an otherwise intelligent and rational individual would choose dance as a career.
Isobel Cohen is an independent dance-artist and Associate Artist at DanceEast. In addition to performances at Latitude, The Great Escape forms part of a mixed-bill at Zoo Venues as part of the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe.
