Saturday 18th July, 2009Seraph Id is a young performance company, run by creative improviser Aedin Walsh, the company works fluidly with each project, drawing on the particular skills of each performer and needs of each work. The integration of skills and response to the built and natural environment is at the core of Seraph Id. This year at Latitude they will present the premiere of their newest work, an Aerial Dance Theatre interpretation of Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Nightingale and The Rose’.
Performed outside by the light of the setting sun, in the arms and lap of Luci's tree, this powerful, timeless story of love and sacrifice will draw breath through visceral live performance, spoken text, live music, aerial and dance.
