Riccardo Meneghini has worked and collaborated with companies such as Russell Maliphant, Scottish Dance Theatre, DV8 Physical Theatre, Opera North, Balletto Teatro Torino. At the same time developing vocabulary in his own choreography working as a freelance performer and teaching contact improvisation, release technique, improvisation, composition.

Spun is the result of three weeks residency in Yorkshire Dance (Leeds), supported by Arts Coucil England. It has been part of an evening "Made in Yorkshire" and performed in Italy and then London as part of Resolution! 2009. Spun examines how affection and love of a life can shift themselves around, and how moving on can sometimes mean skipping forward to the beginning.
