Nick Cohen is a journalist, author and political commentator who writes a column for The Observer. He has also written for the Evening Standard and the New Statesmen and has published four books, ‘Cruel Britannia: Reports
on the Sinister and the Preposterous’, ‘Pretty Straight Guys’, ‘What’s Left?’ and ‘Waiting For The Etonians: Reports from the Sickbed of Liberal England’, earlier this year.
His book, ‘What’s Left?’, which he describes as the story of how the liberal left of the 20th century came to support the far right of the 21st, was shortlisted for the Orwell Prize for political writing last year.
