Quirky, witty and moving Kathryn Simmonds is a fast-rising talent wowing critics and audiences alike. 

Gaining early recognition with her pamphlet ‘Snug’, (2004) as well as having many of her poems published in magazines, she was the winner of the 2006 Poetry London Competition and the 2007 Wigtown Poetry Competition. 

More recently her first collection of poems ‘Sunday At The Skin Laundrette’ won the prestigious Forward Prize for Best First Collection and was longlisted for the Guardian First Book Award 2008.buy
