Patrick Neate is a respected novelist, critic, scriptwriter and poet whose work has been published in most major UK newspapers and magazines, widely anthologised and broadcast on radio and television. The author of four novels and one book of non-fiction, he has received awards for all but one of his offerings.
Across his work, recurring themes include the ability to re-envisage common situations from an alternative point of view, to imagine himself in the mindset of a completely different world and to realise the importance of story in establishing one's self identity.
