Luke Wright is co-programmer of Latitude's Stand-up Poetry Arena and its main host. This year he will be bringing a wealth of new talent including Emily Berry, Ash Sarkar, Brigitte Aphrodite, Joe Duggan, David VanCauter, Mark Grist, Ian Horn, Helen Mort, Steve Rooney and Jack Stannard.

David Van-Cauter
has been writing poetry since winning a £5 book token, aged eight, for a poem about a train. He now lives in Hitchin, via St Albans, Canterbury and Luxembourg. He is a leading member of the Letchworth group Poetry ID (poetry-id.co.uk). He was once a TV and DVD subtitler, but is now a freelance editor, writer and part-time DJ. He has played the boardgame Settlers of Catan over 5000 times. He describes his life as “comedic movement between mild surprises” and his poetry reflects this. Prepare to be amused, moved and mildly surprised. First collection: Tornado in Cleethorpes (2002).
