HENHAM PARK, SOUTHWOLD,

Saturday 18th July, 2009The darlings of London’s neo-cabaret scene make their festival debut at Latitude. Merging bitingly witty original songs and a truly astonishing collection of outfits the demented duo present a whistle-stop tour through the peculiarities of a nation on the edge, and a fabulous homage to this century we live in.
Part cabaret, part theatre, part irreverent self-help group this new show covers socially vital issues such as eroto-manic stalking, clandestine body mutilation and the fatal curse of nu rave.
Bourgeois & Maurice have developed a cult status on the alternative performance scene and have spread their gospel everywhere from Edinburgh to Brighton, Moscow to Hoxton They perform regularly at East London fashion haunt Bistrotheque, were featured as part of Royal Academy of Art’s GSK Contemporary season and have just enjoyed a sell-out season at Soho Theatre.
Pack up your troubles in your Prada bag and join the twisted duo in their philanthropic pursuits. Their superficial smiles might just save your life.
"Unmissable...Bourgeois & Maurice are 21st Century Cabaret stars like no other. Be wide-eyed. Be scared. Be envious. Be there." Time Out
