Scandinavian singer songwriter, Teitur writes poetic music. His direct storytelling, subtle humour, and musical minimalism, found on his recent third album ‘The Singer’ creates quiet, beautiful, harsh and contemplative music – loosely described as “a less depressing Nick Drake”.
His arrangements and vocals are unique and incomparable and his live performances, where he’s often joined by a full orchestra, will be magical as he kick starts the Uncut Arena on Friday afternoon.
