Luke Wright is co-programmer of Latitude's Stand-up Poetry Arena and its main host. This year he will be bringing a wealth of new talent including Emily Berry, Ash Sarkar, Brigitte Aphrodite, Joe Duggan, David VanCauter, Mark Grist, Ian Horn, Helen Mort, Steve Rooney and Jack Stannard.

Emily Berry won an Eric Gregory Award in 2008. She has been featured as an up-and-coming young poet in The Times and her poetry has been published in Poetry Review, Ambit, the Manhattan Review, Stop Sharpening Your Knives, The Rialto, Poetry London and elsewhere. In 2007 she won commendations in the Bridport Prize and the Poetry London Competition. She has an MA in Creative and Life Writing from Goldsmiths College and an MA in English Literature from Leeds University. Her first pamphlet collection, Stingray Fevers, was published last year by Tall-Lighthouse, and a selection of her work will appear in the forthcoming Bloodaxe anthology Voice Recognition: 21 Poets for the 21st Century, edited by James Byrne and Clare Pollard.
